We live in trying times. It’s hard to look beyond ourselves and consider the needs of others. Options exist everywhere for us to see the world upside down. For many people, helping at a local food bank or serving at a soup kitchen is a way to help the downtrodden. Still others will use their technical know-how to help a neighbor fix a car or connect a router for wi-fi. How many times have you considered the number of elderly people who sit at home or an assisted living center waiting for someone to visit them? When we see the world upside down, we are saying to those who are often unnoticed, “You matter.” This is the tone of the kingdom of Christ.
