The teenager wasn’t paying attention when he accidentally ran off the road and into the ditch. He got out of the car and took a quick look around. Everything seemed ok, so he drove his dad’s car home. He didn’t say anything about the accident because he thought no one would ever know. When his father walked out the next morning, he saw a huge scratch mark by the front wheel, and he noticed a large amount of mud. When he went back in the house to confront his son, the boy immediately knew he was in trouble. He should have confessed to his mistake immediately. We cannot ignore our sins. We must confess them to the Lord.
