Contaminated

The effects of sin didn’t stop with Adam and Eve. Sin had a lasting effect on all of creation. In Romans 8:20–22, Paul describes the effects that sin had on everything that exists. It brought disorder to the goodness we read about in Genesis 1. If we think about the creation as a glass of water and sin as a single drop of a pollutant (take your pick), no matter how small the contaminant, the water is no longer pure. Regardless of where the contamination originates, the whole glass of water is affected. Serious outside help is required to cleanse the water so someone would drink it willingly.
