Whether it’s a paper map or Google Maps, we have all attempted to get somewhere and hoped the directions were correct. How many times have you used an app to get somewhere, only to feel like you are not on the right course at all. You find out along the way that you didn’t take a wrong turn; the app wanted you to go by the world’s biggest ball of yarn. How about the number of times someone has said, “Trust me, I know where I’m going,” only for you to find out that they really don’t know. Sometimes, however, we just have to trust the map leading us. Sometimes we might get turned around, but a good map or leader is able to get us back on track and heading in the right direction. God knew where he was going, even if Israel wasn’t yet sure whether they trusted Moses.
