The sword of the Spirit, along with prayer, is meant to be used in all our worries. Scripture isn’t just for Sundays. In the face of every assault, Jesus began his retort with, “It is written…” While the Bible won’t tell you which roads have construction today, it will tell you how to remain patient and joyful as you hit another thirty-minute traffic jam. It might not give us all the answers we want, but it will always provide the answers we need.
