Have you ever been locked out of a house or a car? Of course, this situation is one of those newer generations may not identify with, but there was a time when if you lost a key, you couldn’t get into your house or car. So you had to call a locksmith who would bring the tools needed to get the door open. Our life right now is a bit like that; we pray for the great locksmith to come with the key that unlocks the door to our heavenly home. We know it’s there, just on the other side of that door. But we can’t open it ourselves—we can only anticipate the glory that awaits us.
