Loneliness has emerged in the last decade as a real struggle for many young adults across cultures. Seoul, South Korea, has begun investing in community centers where people can gather, grow in friendship, and receive social services. Churches have done the same, creating spaces for people to grow in faith as they grow in friendship. These Christian spaces remind people that God is always with them through times of loneliness. One guest said, “Even when life feels empty, God’s love never abandons us. That truth has carried me—and I believe it can remind others that they are not alone” (Jennifer Park, “Fighting Korea’s Loneliness Epidemic with Cafés and Convenience Stores,” Christianity Today, October 3, 2025, https://www.christianitytoday.com/2025/10/korea-seoul-loneliness-convenience-stores-community-cafe/).
