Protected by Peace

In the last few years, you may have noticed that at some restaurants the outdoor eating space during the colder months is filled with clear, plastic domes. Called different names—geodomes or igloos—these clear plastic structures provide heat and the ability to eat outside even when it is cold. You are outside, yet you do not experience the cold. That thin layer of plastic is all it takes to completely change the winter outdoor dining experience. The hope of resurrection brings peace to believers. It’s like that thin layer of plastic. The peace doesn’t mean the difficulties and trials of life disappear; rather, we are able to continue living because we have peace.
