Set Your Eyes

Different sports require different skills, but most of them share one principle: What you look at matters. In baseball, you’re supposed to watch the ball hit the bat. In basketball, you’re supposed to look at the basket when you shoot. In football, you must always know where the ball is. The list could go on. Paul calls Christians to do something similar. He calls us to set our minds on heavenly things. We need to remember the hope we have in Christ.
