In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man is an example of an unlikely hero. He is an ordinary boy, slightly shy and mild mannered, who gains tremendous power. His Uncle Ben teaches him that “with great power comes great responsibility,” and a hero is born when Spider-Man realizes he must use his power to serve others. Similarly, the Holy Spirit endows believers with divine power, urging us to step beyond our comfort zone and impact the world for Christ.
