The Lure of Sin

The fishing lure is an enticing bait designed to attract fish, yet it hides a dangerous hook. In the same way, the devil wants to lure us away from God by baiting us with an enticing temptation so that the sin appears more enjoyable than God. Yet the temptation conceals a hook within it that will take us captive to sin.
