If you’re a fan of nature documentaries, then you’ve seen at least one hunt on the Serengeti or in the woods of North America. When animals that hunt for food need to eat, they do not select targets that are strong and able-bodied. They target young, sick, or injured animals. They pick animals that will offer the greatest bounty at the lowest cost. In life, we are much the same—vulnerable so long as we think we can do it all on our own. We must not let the fact that we can do things alone become a conviction that we should do things alone. God designed us to need help.
