Ruler Of Scripture

Humans have long used rulers to measure distances accurately. The oldest ruler we have is from Egypt, found in the tomb of King Tut’s treasurer, Maya. As we dwell on the Scriptures as the norm of norms, we must acknowledge that they are our ruler, by which we measure our theological opinions. We must conform our doctrines to the ruler of Scripture, rather than forcing Scripture to say something it is not or to conform to our own ideas.
