Taming a Wild Animal

In James 3:7–8, after comparing the tongue to a fire, James compares it to a wild animal. Today, there are many people in our world who attempt to domesticate wild animals, grooming them—arguably against their nature—to be family pets. Sometimes these attempts are successful, but sometimes they are not.
