Almost Heaven

If you happen to be driving through the beautiful state of West Virginia, you may notice the state slogan: “Almost Heaven.” “West Virginia is so beautiful,” it seems to be saying, “that it’s like heaven on earth.” Christians know that the future glory is described as a city that will be as beautiful as a bride on her wedding day. It isn’t the creation itself that makes it beautiful, but the presence of the Creator with his people.
