As ambassadors of Christ, we must strive to live a life void of offense and speak as the one represented. “An ambassador speaks for his own country. When a British ambassador speaks, his voice is the voice of Britain. There are times when the Christian has to speak for Christ. In the decisions and the counsels of the world his must be the voice which brings the message of Christ to the human situation” (William Barclay, The Letters to the Corinthians [Philadelphia, PA: Westminster John Knox Press, 1975], 210).
