Many funeral homes have information on their websites letting you know what objects you can be buried with. They even have coffins available with drawers built into them where you can place things such as championship rings, sports cards, memorabilia, or photographs of loved ones. But what good is any of that? What purpose does that serve, sitting inside a coffin, buried underground, with a body that is slowly wasting away? It is an uncomfortable subject, but it’s the truth: we are all going to die. We don’t know when, but we know that, like taxes, it’s a certainty. And no matter what you bury with you, you can’t take it with you. Are you prepared for the future? Not in the sense that you have a good retirement account built up or that you have made wise financial decisions, but are you prepared for the future after death?
