Cameo

If you’ve watched enough of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, you’ll notice a pattern: a certain older gentleman makes a repeat cameo. The actor is Stan Lee, the creator of many of the comic book superheroes who populate Marvel. It’s a fun homage to the creator of the works, and if you have ever seen these films in the theater, then you may have experienced his appearing in a unique way: with the moviegoers clapping or cheering for Stan. Through Jesus, God made a cameo in his creation, and Advent is an opportunity for us to clap and cheer and celebrate God’s cameo.
