Dramatic Irony

The video below provides a great definition of dramatic irony—when an audience is in on a secret that the characters in a story don’t yet know.

We know how the story in the Bible ends, though we haven’t yet lived it. By studying it in our modern context, we’ll get to see how all of scripture points to Christ, even when it’s not obvious.
