We fix our eyes on Jesus by doing the following: (1) Remembering Jesus; he has run and endured the most difficult race ever. (2) Celebrating that Jesus won his race and enables us to win our race (1 Corinthians 15:57). (3) Focusing on God and not our circumstances (2 Corinthians 5:7). As we run our race, we must not be looking around at other things and becoming distracted. Here’s a funny video that illustrates how being distracted can keep us from seeing the “prize”:
