Forgetfulness

Have you ever left the house and forgotten your wallet, purse, phone, keys, or some other essential item that you’d need? Perhaps it was leaving for school without your homework that was due that day. Or maybe it was checking out at the store and realizing your purse was still in the car. It can be easy to forget important things when we are tired, distracted, in a rush, or operating on autopilot and assuming that the thing we need will be right where we want it to be! While forgetting our car keys is something small that can easily slip our minds, there are more crucial items that we should remember, yet don’t always do so—our spouse and children’s birthdays, paying our utility bills and taxes, and the deadlines for our final term papers.
