God’s Parient Character

A parent’s character matters deeply to a child’s development. If the child can
expect his parents to respond in a loving way no matter the circumstances, that
child is more likely to be honest with them when the child does something bad or
something bad happens to them. However, if the child assumes the parents will
respond negatively or erratically, the child is much less likely to be honest. This
psalm reflects a child of God who knows God’s character and can patiently wait
on God even in the darkest of moments.
