Guard Our Lives

When we think about being safely guarded, several images might come to mind. A dignitary from a foreign country who visits a neighboring country to discuss potentially problematic issues might be surrounded by a guard or team of people to protect them. A well-known public figure or artist may require a team of people to protect or guard them from fans or press who want to get too close for comfort. It might be a police escort to the hospital for a woman in labor. There are so many ways a person might be guarded to ensure safe passage or security in any given situation. These images help us see how God guards our lives when we trust in him.
