Idleness

When thinking about the relationship between idleness and mischief, a fun and light example that comes to mind is Winnie the Pooh. As lovable as he may be, Pooh Bear is a lazy character. His idleness leads to mischief and mayhem. This is displayed anytime he finds himself in the presence of a bunch of honey jars! Pooh Bear isn’t exactly in good shape or fit either, as the excessive amounts of honey that he has consumed over the years has led to a bulging belly! His iconic red shirt barely fits him! Pooh Bear’s slothfulness has led to gluttony. Idleness can lead to a host of personal mischief and vice.
