If It Doesn’t Serve its Purpose it’s Useless

Have you ever jumped in a pool on a hot day expecting to be refreshed by cold
water? The worst thing is to jump in and discover that it feels like bathwater. It
doesn’t cool you down at all. It’s so disappointing. Water that doesn’t serve its
purpose is useless. Jesus compares the Laodiceans to water that serves no
purpose. They are called to repent from this lifestyle and become useful in God’s
kingdom.
