I’ll Do It Myself!

Like Thanos putting on the infinity gauntlet and saying, “Fine. I’ll do it myself” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu_hw963AG4), we like to take the reins and make our ideas a reality. We get tired of waiting on God, waiting for people to change, waiting for some aspect of our lives to conform to the way we think it should be, and we charge ahead. It may not lead to the ultimate end as it did for Thanos in the Marvel Universe, but it likely will end with some sort of discipline or pain as we conform again to the will of God in our lives.
