The Bread of Life

Fake food is always disappointing. Whenever you walk into someone’s kitchen and you see a bowl of fruit, you may be excited to sink your teeth into a juicy apple or ripe banana. It’s always disappointing when you discover the fruits are plastic or wooden. The crowds wanted real food, but Jesus considered their temporal food to be fake compared to himself. This is why Jesus declares himself to be the Bread of Life.
