Just Like My Hero

Have you ever looked up to someone and desperately wished you could emulate what they do? Perhaps it was wanting to plan, run, and make the Super Bowl–winning play like your team’s favorite quarterback. Maybe it was wanting to write, record, and perform an award-winning song at a sold-out concert like your favorite recording artist. Or perhaps it was wanting to lead a multibillion-dollar organization to record growth and success. Whatever hero we aspire to emulate, we’ve all dreamt of going behind the scenes to acquire the secret sauce of their success so we can copy their routine and process in hopes of receiving the same accolades and achievements—and maybe, just maybe, becoming like our hero. From the classroom to the workplace, from the sports arena or the stage to the home, we want to learn from the best in our field to be the best—and beat the rest!
