Living with His Dwelling

Video game characters provide an interesting analogy for how Paul talks about
God’s Spirit in this passage. In a video game, the characters aren’t alive. The
game doesn’t work without a player operating the system. However, when you
turn on the controller and begin playing, you guide the player through the game.
When God’s Spirit dwells in us, we begin to really live. Prior to that we were dead
in our sins.
