While there are many sources of funding for overseas missions, there are few resources for local ministries outside of churches and their own efforts. There are even fewer people of color able to fund their ministries to hard to reach communities. @HopeMob is a Christian nonprofit that resources and crowdfunds four campaigns (community outreach projects) per funding cycle and distributes contributions accordingly. They feature projects for those who are often so busy with their work that they cannot fundraise on their own.
@HopeMob allows Christians to pool their resources and help fund personal and small scale outreach projects to marginalized people in our own country. The leaders of these projects may never receive recognition or acclaim but are working diligently nonetheless. May they be an example to us as we work for the glory of God, seen or not.
