As long as we possess a genuine love for one another, we can have all kinds of miscues and mistakes and yet still experience much success in our relationships. Love truly covers a multitude of sins and failures. So, whether you have made mistakes in a romantic relationship, in a friendship, or in the context of evangelism and disciple-making, genuine love can cover and overcome many miscues and failures. More than that, God—the source of all human love—can overcome our mistakes!
The live-action Disney film Christopher Robin (directed by Marc Forster, Walt Disney Pictures, 2018) helps illustrate this point.
