Making & Making New

Have you ever observed someone making something from scratch? Maybe it was bread. Perhaps you’ve seen someone make a sculpture out of ice or sand—or butter! Maybe you’ve witnessed a piece of ugly metal be turned into an incredibly useful tool after it was in the hands of a talented welder. In all these situations, there is one driving theme: being blown away. Witnessing something that looks useless turned into something new or useful is an incredible thing. That’s exactly what Jesus does with humanity.
