Mistaken Identity

Operating under mistaken identity can lead to poor decisions. In the “Alone” episode of House (season 4, episode 1, directed by Deran Serafian, aired September 25, 2007, on Fox), everything the team tries to heal a victim of a building collapse fails—and fails spectacularly. The patient is finally treated and healed when they discover that they have mistaken her for a different woman and have been working from the wrong medical records.
