New Car Smell

Newness is attractive. People talk about “new car smell.” Companies even sell the scent so you can put it in your old car and still give off the appearance—or at least smell—of its being “like new.” Or sometimes people talk about how good a newborn baby smells. Our lifestyle—being Christlike and loving others like God loves us—is a new way of living in this world. We have the aroma of Christ (2 Corinthians 2:15) and can bring that freshness with us into the lives of others. We can have that “new creation” smell.
