Oven Testing

According to an article in Insider about The Great British Baking Show, each oven is tested every day to ensure fairness for each contestant. To do this, Victoria sponges, a British type of cake, are baked every day, using every oven at the same time (Chelsea Davis and Crystal Wall, “18 Things You Probably Didn’t Know about ‘The Great British Baking Show,’” Insider, November 27, 2020, https://www.insider.com/cool-things-to-know-about-the-great-british-baking-show-trivia) Although it would be nice if everyone’s life was as predictable as daily oven testing that ensures complete fairness for every participant, it doesn’t always work that way. Some of us will go through life at higher acceleration rates, while others might feel left in their dust. God’s order for your steps is the right order, not the standard for everyone else.
