Parenting All the Right Ways

Have you ever noticed that two people can bring the same dish to a potluck, but they don’t taste the same? Even when we work from the same recipe, small variations cause very different end products. A little more of one ingredient or another, the number of times we open the oven door, or even the altitude it was cooked in can impact the results. Don’t expect your family to look like everyone else, and don’t practice “prosperity gospel parenting,” because even if you think you did all the right things in raising a human, results may vary as they gain independence. “Press on” (v. 14) in faith as we all grow in Christ.
