God’s guidance isn’t as mystical as some might expect. He has given us the Bible as a way to hear from him and to know his ways. We must read the Bible not just at church, but also on our own daily as a conversation with the Lord. This satirical Babylon Bee article makes the point: http://babylonbee.com/news/mansitting-literally-three-feet-away-bible-asks-god-speak/. This tongue-in-cheek article states the obvious: God does give us specific guidance and he has also revealed himself to us in the Bible. If we are seeking God’s will for our lives, we need to read his Word for ourselves.
