When considering who in the congregation would be a good candidate to share their story of healing, expand your search to anyone who clung tightly to their relationship with Jesus while they waited for healing. Identify someone who patiently waited for their healing. Be sure to not limit yourself to physical healings that can be seen. Consider those who have healed from trauma; those who have experienced hard childhoods but are raising their own children with care and safety; or those who have been healed from a significant experience of brokenness. Look for the evidences of joy, hope, and willingness to follow closely after Jesus. If someone is available to share, ask them evocative questions such as: When did you know Jesus offered healing? How did you know you had been healed? What risks were involved in you seeking healing from Jesus? Was the risk worth it?
