It may be worthwhile to acknowledge that popular culture does not necessarily represent Christian revival in positive ways. Preachers in tent revivals are often portrayed as con men, and miracle healings as nothing but theatrics. The country artist Zach Bryan released “Revival,” in which he sings:
We’re having an all-night revival;
Someone call the women, and someone steal the Bibles

Rend Collective’s “Revival Anthem,” however, describes what revival is meant to be, when they sing,
Oh, break the strongholds,
Come and unleash heaven

True Christian revival is life-giving for everyone touched by it.
