Hitting the open road can be fun, but determining where to go might be tough when you are free to go wherever you please. Many of us were confused about traveling during the pandemic. In 2020 and following, suddenly we were prevented from going places as freely as we could prior to the pandemic, and amenities such as public bathrooms were not available. We had to practice maintaining distances from others and following rules limiting numbers of people in certain places. We were forced to become comfortable with less freedom. The lack of total freedom to come and go, to do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted, was a shock to most of our culture. Although nothing like the weight carried by the following the law of the Old Testament, following pandemic rules was a bit like the lack of freedom experienced when rules guide every aspect of life.
