Have you ever accomplished something, only to have someone else steal the credit for your hard work? Few things are more annoying! In the NBC comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a recurring character nicknamed “the Vulture” has a habit of letting everyone else do the work and then swooping in and taking the credit. Sometimes we act like “the Vulture.” God does all the work to equip us and enable us with spiritual gifts, and then we swoop in and take all the credit. Or we make the exercising of our gifts all about us instead of about God and the unity of the church.
