So we must keep “God is love” together with the unchangeableness of God. This reveals a God who shows an everlasting love toward people. In the 2019 animated feature film Frozen II, the relationship between Kristoff and Anna struggles as the team strives to right a wrong committed in the past. Kristoff struggles to express his love to Anna, and Anna’s mind is preoccupied with helping her sister. By the end of the movie, Anna apologizes to Kristoff for not being there for him. He replies, “My love is not fragile” (directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck [Walt Disney, 2019]). In a small way, this is a picture of God’s love. God’s love is not fragile.
