A lamp only lights up if the cord is connected properly and plugged into a wall. It cannot plug into itself to serve its proper function. Neither can it disconnect from the source of power and expect to work best. As Christians, we need to be plugged in too. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to fuel and light our work.
