Sleeping On The Job

Psalm 121 tells us that ‘He [God] who watches over you will not slumber.’ Much unlike the armed security guard from the Atlanta area whose picture went viral in 2019. It showed him sleeping on the job at the hospital he was supposedly protecting. The hospital was already struggling with security concerns in the previous months, and the picture exacerbated the issue in the community: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZFlsWtc_dk. Security is a fundamental human concern. While we cannot always trust our fellow humans to keep us safe, we worship a God who never sleeps on the job.
