Giving in to one temptation can lead to an avalanche of more and more trouble. This video from CBS News shows one snowboarder’s bad decision that led to an avalanche of legal consequences. Note that the video does contain one swear word, so, as always preview for appropriateness before using.
There is no such thing, really, as a harmless sin. All disobedience is the same in God’s eyes. Pride and arrogance are just as detestable as fear and unbelief, as murder and adultery. This truth means not a single person can be without sin. We can never achieve perfection on our own. We must trust in the only perfect man, Jesus, in order to be right with God.
