This interactive illustration brings that concept home: Provide your congregation with paper and ask them to take some time to write their eulogies with the backdrop of “Am I living a life that shows forth my Christian values?” “Beginning with the end in mind” came to prominence in Stephen Covey’s book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Have people write down what they would want others to say at their funeral. The challenge then is to live your life with that end in mind.
