Many movies describe a hero who is set to fulfill a role or a prophecy. Throughout the story, some doubt if the hero is that specific person or not. Maybe the prophecies are wrong, or this isn’t the right person. In the 1991 film Hook, the story center around grown-up Peter Pan who has to travel to Neverland to save his children. Peter does not believe he is the Pan and struggles to believe any of it is real. Many of the lost boys struggle to see this grown-up as Peter Pan. As he trains to save his children from Captain Hook, he realizes that he is the Pan. One scene shows Peter flying to meet the Lost Boys and the main leader, who questioned Peter’s identity, bows and says, “You are the Pan”. Throughout the life of Jesus, many begin to see and believe that Jesus is the Christ. The earliest of these characters was John the Baptist.
