Have you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall so you can hear what people really have to say when you aren’t around? A long-running reality show filmed in the United States does just that. In Undercover Boss (2010–present, CBS), highly paid corporate executives leave the comfort of their cushy offices and pose as new wage-earning employees in order to gain perspective on what it’s like to work in some of the toughest positions in their company and to discover what their employees really have to say about their bosses. The goal is to make it through a series of tasks without being identified by their employees before a big reveal at the end of each episode. After his resurrection, Jesus did something very similar with two of his followers on the road to Emmaus.
